June 20, 2024 – On June 10, CIP and the National Capital Commission (NCC) co-presented “The Inclusive Capital,” the NCC’s final Urbanism Lab of the season.
An inclusive capital brings people together to enjoy shared experiences regardless of age, physical ability, language, culture and more. Featuring opening remarks from CIP member (and creator/lead facilitator of the Emerging Leaders Program) Natalie Persaud RPP, MCIP, this event shares presentations from Garry Meus, Liz Wreford, and Kathryn A. Finnigan on the possibilities that can emerge from equitable and inclusive urban design.
