As part of our commitment to enhancing your member services, we have been working with the Provincial and Territorial Institutes and Associations (PTIAs) to transition from our old database to a new, shared database.

Our new database will provide members with a much-improved and refined user experience through a simplified, one-stop service for login, invoicing, renewals, and more! In addition, OPPI Members will now, optionally, renew their CIP membership directly through OPPI in a single payment.

As a result, a number of member services will be temporarily unavailable.

IMPORTANT DATES

CIP and the PTIAs want to ensure the smooth transition of your member data from our old database to our new one. That’s why this project is being rolled out in a few phases.

Freeze Period Database access is paused. Data is transferred from the old database to the new one.August 14, 2022
Phase 1 Some database access is restored. Member self-serve and other database features are paused.August 26, 2022
Phase 2 All database access is restored. Member self-serve and other database features are restored.End of October

During the Freeze Period, access to the database and its features will be paused. This is when the member data will be pulled from our old database and transferred to our new one.

During Phase 1, some access to the database and its features will be restored. Now you will be able to use CIP services linked to the database, including viewing the events calendar and registering for events and webinars. The biggest change in Phase 1 is that self-serve access to your member profile and some services will still be temporarily unavailable.

During Phase 2, all access to the database and its features will be restored including access to the member portal where you can update CPL, update contact information, update communication preferences, access and pay for invoices and so much more.
