Main Street

Summerland, BC

Street

Located in the heart of downtown, Main Street is roughly four blocks long, with Rosedale Ave and Victoria Rd at either end. The street is over 100 years old.

Main Street is in the downtown core and boasts unique shops if you are looking for that special something. It has many stores and eateries, and lots of people meet downtown for a coffee, or to peruse the shops. You can also find realtors, photography, antiques, financial institutions, a meeting hall, and so much more all on the one street. Our Annual Festival of Lights is held on Main St and has expanded to Victoria as well.

Major champions of the street have been business owners and the newly formed Summerland Merchants’ Committee. They have been creating festivals and events to get people to come out and enjoy what this street has to offer.

The street is one that brings people together. It is the heart of downtown. You have all your essentials right there at your footstep. Parking is ample; there are many crosswalks for pedestrians, and a low speed limit for drivers. It is a street that could be pictured in a movie.
