Cindy Welsh is the Manager of Planning for the City of Timmins. Prior to this, Cindy was the Senior Policy Planner with the Town of The Blue Mountains. Cindy has over twenty years of experience in public service at both the municipal and provincial levels in diverse sectors including land use planning, policy planning, health care planning, as well as community and economic development.
Cindy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Carleton University, a Bachelor of Environmental Studies Degree (Honours Urban and Regional Planning – Co-operative Program) from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Public Health Degree from Lakehead University. In 2015, Cindy was granted a Certificate in Economic Development from the University of Waterloo and Economic Developers Association of Canada.
Cindy is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and Ontario ProfessionalPlanners Institute, and is a Registered Professional Planner.
